Film, video and the moving image is all about sound and vision and that’s just what we do here at Solar Pictures, we are sound and vision makers. Creating new films and videos from pre-production, production and post production. We can provide original music, sound effects, voice-over, graphics, editing, DVD authoring, photography and design, all to bring out the best performance in the moving image.

Video Production can produce multi camera music shows, documentaries, and dramas. Also educational, institutional, corporate, advertising, events, show-reels, pop promos, exhibitions. Also provide freelance camera work, crew for hire, producing, directing, writing and co-writing to bring your film or project alive and kicking.

Equipment: Super 8, 16mm, Mini DV, DV Cam, SP and Digi-beta, also High Definition.

Editing: Final Cut-Pro and Avid

Photography: Advertising, fashion and portfolios produced.

Solar Pictures has produced various dramas for competition and festivals which is the heart of the company. The film ‘Just Because You’re Paranoid’ is a psychological thriller about a man who is in a constant paranoid state due to sleep deprivation, nightmares and copious amounts of coffee.

Future Projects: A short film entitled ‘The House’, a documentary about a fisherwoman and the feature ‘Strapped for Cash’. ‘Strapped for Cash’ is about an insurance scam which goes horribly wrong. This is a work in progress, script development and funding is underway now.
